"To a parent, your child wasn't just a person: your child was a place, a kind of Narnia, a vast eternal place where the present you were living and the past you remembered and the future you longed for all at the same time."
Celeste Ng
LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE
I absolutely loved this book. For reference, the second I finished it I ran to my friends and family and basically forced them into reading it. I knew from the second I started it that I would fall in love with this book. It is centered around a mother and daughter pair who are constantly on the move together. They seem to leave their place of residence whenever trouble comes up. You can almost sense it brewing when they meet the family who owns the house they are living in.
